        purūruṇā    cid    dhi    asti    avas    nūnam    vām    varuṇa  /

        by-wideness    indeed                  is                           now           your

        mitra    vamsi    vām    sumatim  //

                            i-would-enjoy   your   good-mindedness

     tā    vām    samyak    adruhvāṇā    ișam    aśyāma    dhāyase  /

      vayam    te    rudrā    siyāma  //

                          these        O Rudras      may-we-be

       pātam    nas    rudrā    pāyubhis    uta    trāyethām    sutrātrā  /

             protect   us    O Rudras    with-protecting-powers   and   deliver   with-good-deliverance
