1. upasadyāya mīlhuṣe

the-one-to-be-approached for-showering-of-gifts

āsye juhutā havis

in-mouth cast-pour offering

yas nas nediṣṭham āpyam

7. ni tvā nakṣya viśpati

you O approachable-lord-of-men

dyumantam deva dhīmahi

luminous-bright O devine have-set-down-placed-within
