1. mahān asi adhvarasya praketas

great you-are of-sacrifice conscious-perception

na ṛte tvad amṛtā mādayante

no without you immortals made-joyful

ā viśvebhis saratham yāhi devais

with-all in-same-chariot come with-gods

agne hotā prathamas sadeha

in-you at-last-between for-mortal-giver

manuṣvat agne iha yakṣi devān

like-humans O Agni here sacrifice to-gods

4. agnis īse bṛhatas adhvarasya

Agni is-master lofty-vast-great of-sacrifice

agnis viśvasya haviṣas kṛtasya

Agni of-every-offering-made

kratum hi asya vasavas juṣanta

will his wisdom-lords-of-riches resort-cling
