    prāta    agni    purupriya    viśa    staveta    atithiḥ

            in-morning         much-loved    of-people   should-be-affirmed    guest

     viśvāni    ya    amartyaḥ    havyā    marteṣu    raṇyati

             who        immortal        in-all-the-offerings     in-mortals    takes-joy

      dvitāya    mṛktavāhase    svasya    dakṣasya    mamha

              for-second      for-injure-bringer    of-own-discerning-mind     with-the-plenitude

                                    bears-the-purified-intelligence

       indestructible   whose   chariot     O horse-giver      is-moved-brought

    citrā        yeṣu    dīdhitiḥ    āsan    ukthā    pānti   ye

       bright-light   in-whom      of-thought    in-mouth   utterances   protect   who
