bṛhat vayaḥ hi bhānave arcā devāya agnaye

vast expansion indeed for-sun you-shall-praise for-devine-Agni

yam mitram na praśastibhir martāsaḥ dadhire puraḥ

whom friend like by-their-expressions mortals have-established in-front

sa hi dyubhir janānām hotā dakṣasya bāhuvoḥ

vi havyam agnir ānuṣak bhagaḥ na vāram ṛṇvati

nū naḥ ehi vāryam agne gṛṇāna ā bhara

now to-us come desired-good singing bring

ye vayam ye ca sūrayaḥ suasti dhāmahe –

we and those luminous-masters good-state-of-being may-we-establish
