· ās svayam mṛtas asi / iti uktvā

mṛgam bandhanāt mocayitvā pāśān grahītum sayatnas babhūva /

deer from-fetter having-delivered snare to-take-up busy he-was

· tatas kākaśabdam sṛutvā , satvaram utthāya papāyitas /

thence crow’s-sound having-heard quickly having-risen escaped
